Outfit of The Day

I love this outfit Ashleigh of the daileigh posted on her blog. The vest is awesome! And the head to toe look is dope, so is her blog. Check it out!

Bienvenue

I'm always happy to hear about the U.S becoming a little bit more like France. The latest most welcomed french transplant is the designer Claudie Pierlot who is launching in the U.S. I can't wait to shop their new e-commerce site and pretend I'm strolling the rues of Paris while walking the streets of Brooklyn. Here's a quick look at their line:

Ditmas Park Redeemed

A few weeks ago a friend and I went the Ditmas park neighborhood in Brooklyn to have Sunday Brunch. The restaurant we were planning on dining at The Farm on Adderley was closed for a private party. So in our disappointment we walked around to find a sufficient substitute. We came upon a little place with cute decor and backyard setting. The food was the worst! And we left our first time visit to this neighborhood saddened by this experience. This weekend we returned to Ditmas park and the The Farm on Adderley was open for business, YES! And much like it's good reputation that I've been hearing about for years the food was excellent! But you know what they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Teacher Swag

As a preschool teacher I receive gifts from generous and grateful parents of the children I teach. Parents usually want to show their appreciation for the hard work we do with gifts during the holidays and at the end of the school year.  I love getting gifts, and there is nothing I enjoy getting more then body products! At the end of this school year one mom gave me an Aveda gift box with wonderful product inside. Two of my new favorites are the Hand Relief and Foot Relief lotions. They are such thick and luxurious lotions every application feels like a personal hand and foot massage. So with that I'm sold! These two products will defiantly be added into my daily skin care regimen.
